A New Place for My Fiancee

My wife Ida and I have been married for twelve years. We love each other so much. There is nothing that I would not do for her. I proposed to her a couple of months ago. It was very magical. We both had recently graduated from college and wanted to start the next chapter of our lives. We searched for apartments for rent in Tallahassee.

We both planned to stay in an apartment to get more privacy. I wanted to have my own place for Ida and I to have privacy. I come from a big family and my house did not have the space to accommodate Ida and myself. We had no privacy to ourselves. My family members would intrude on our romantic moments. It was so embarrassing. Ida’s house was no different. She had many people in her house as well. It was too crowded. We needed a change.

Ida and I wanted to find an apartment that was inexpensive, safe, and had enough space for us. The search was long and difficult. Some of the places we saw were really good, but were not in our price range to afford. We did not have enough money to rent the apartments.

One day, our luck changed for the better. We found an apartment that was perfect for us. It was a reasonable distance from the college where we both worked. We did not have to make a long journey just to get to work. The apartment was located in a safe neighborhood. This was a top priority for us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very pleasing to us. We fell in love with it at first sight.

My fiancee and I love our new place. It is very affordable and spacious. It is everything that we could ever want in a place to live.

We Have Upgraded from a Condo

My husband and I had a huge decision to make last year. We were nearing the end of our lease on the condo we had been renting, and we had to decide if we wanted to renew it or look for a new place to live. We thought that we would enjoy condo living, and it really was okay, but it was just too far from where we both work. That is why we finally decided to start looking at apartments for rent in Silver Spring MD. We thought that we would be downgrading by doing this, but the apartment that we ended up getting is really nice. It is actually much nicer than our old condo in most ways!

First off, the closet space that we have in our new apartment is a dream come true. I am a typical woman, meaning I love to shop. It is nothing for me to add at least one or two outfits to my wardrobe every month. With the closet space we have here, that is no longer a struggle. Also, we have a nice balcony that has an amazing view. When I am waiting for my husband to get home from work, I will sit out there with a book, and it is just so peaceful.

I also love the swimming pool that we are able to use anytime we want to. It is huge, and we both enjoy getting some laps in the morning before it gets too crowded. There is also a fitness center that is open around the clock, so we were able to cancel our gym memberships, saving us even more money. There is nothing about our new apartment that we don’t like, and it means we get to spend more time together now too since we are so much closer to our jobs.

  1. Waste Kichigai Mentat I knew a nice friend who was willing to ship me his old 15" LCD screen, since it was being replaced with his new computer, and he no longer had need for it. UPS, simply put, overcharged him on packaging. The monitor was wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap, shoved in a box full of packing peanuts, then that box was placed in *another* box of packing peanuts, and shipped. By that point, the box was classified as an "oversized" package, and was charged extra for it. Note to self: don’t trust UPS to package things for me next time. Do it myself.
